In Memoriam (1936-2018)
Mrs. Rosenblum began her long and accomplished career as a securities analyst with Bache & Co. covering consumer non-durables and pharmaceuticals, and worked for several prominent New York Stock exchange firms. She developed the Flexible Growth investment discipline in 1975 at our predecessor firm. In 1984 Mrs. Rosenblum joined forces with Phyllis Sutton and founded RSS Investment Counsel. For over three decades, they co-managed our clients’ investment portfolios, specializing in growth stock investing.
Mrs. Rosenblum’s credentials included a B.A. in Business from Cornell University, an M.B.A. in Finance from Boston University Graduate School of Management and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. In addition, she was a member of the San Francisco Society of Securities Analyst and the Association for Investment Management and Research.
Mrs. Rosenblum shared her knowledge and many decades of experience through interviews with financial publications, television and radio shows including CNBC, the Wall Street Journal and the Wall Street Transcript. She was a frequent financial commentator in Bay Area newspapers, and a popular guest speaker and lecturer at institutions including the University of California, Mills College and San Francisco State University.
